Built by Napoleon Bonaparte to honor his army, the Arc de Triomphe stands proudly in the center of Place Charles de Gaulle. The monument is decorated with detailed bas-reliefs and inscriptions of historical battles. You can climb the 284 steps for a 360° panorama of Paris and the Champs-Élysées.
